No-Till Alliance -July Field Day 1: Meadville

Farmers, agronomists, conservation professionals, and allied industry are invited to attend the Pennsylvania No-Till Alliance Summer Field Days, scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, at Ernst Conservation Seeds in Meadville, Pennsylvania 

The featured speaker at both locations will be South African farmer and soil health advocate Egon Zunckel. He will share lessons learned from his experience implementing no-till and cover-crop systems in his presentation, “My Journey Toward Soil Health with No-Till and Cover Crops.” Zunckel will also present “Above Average Yields from Below Average Soils,” offering practical insights into improving productivity on challenging ground. 

Meadville: A farmer panel discussion, “Yes, No-Till Does Work in Western PA,” highlighting local producer experiences and successes with no-till farming systems.

In addition to the field day program, attendees can participate in “Meeting of the Minds” dinners held the evening before each event, along with a tour of the event location, Ernst Seed Farm.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Registration is FREE for Pennsylvania No-Till Alliance members, $25 for non-members and non-registered, and $30 for late or day-of registrations.
