Ticks on Horse Farms: Biology, Prevention, and Control is an interactive, in-person program covering tick biology, equine health risks, and prevention strategies. Participants will learn on-horse tick prevention, conduct hands-on tick checks, and receive a tick check kit. 

The session also covers farm-wide management, including habitat modification and targeted treatments, with a guided farm walk-through to assess real-world risks. 

The event concludes with a discussion, take-home resources, and an evaluation, equipping attendees with practical tools to protect their horses and farms.
