The 2025 Winter PennAg Poultry Council Meat & Egg Meeting

Join us for a Cracking Good Time at Our Annual Meat and Egg Meeting. Engage in discussions, network, and gain industry insights! 

PennAg Poultry Council Cordially invites you to attend its annual winter Meat & Egg meeting, which is open to all PennAg Poultry members and those involved in the poultry industry.

The event will include:

  • Informative presentations on industry and research updates.
  • A 50/50 Raffle for the PennAg Poultry Council’s Scholarship program.
  • The Council’s annual 26th Big Buck Contest.
  • A delightful fellowship buffet lunch.

Stay tuned for more details on the 2025 meeting in the coming weeks, including a payment form for the fellowship lunch. This year’s meeting will not allow for any walk-ins. Everyone planning to attend will need to RSVP & pay for lunch in advance.

A Look Back at the 2024 Meat & Egg Meeting!

In December, the Poultry Executive Committee convened for their yearly Meat and Egg Meeting. The event featured several presentations on informative, current events, including preparedness for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), HPAI vaccination strategies, compensation and pricing, updates on legislation, and research updates from the Center for Poultry and Livestock Excellence.

Congratulations to Poultry Council member Taylor Cameron from the PennAg company member Dutchland Farms, who took home the winning title and trophy of the Council’s annual Big Buck Contest with her 8-point Pennsylvania Whitetail buck featuring a 16.5-inch rack spread.
