February 2012 – The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection have developed a 'Pennsylvania Mycotoxin Management Guidance Document,' supplying folks with procedures for management; laboratory contact information; test kit suppliers; handling recommendations and disposal options; DEP Regional Office contacts and PDA contacts.

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Plant Industry, has also passed information along as to the FDA established advisory levels for the mycotoxin deoxynivalenol (DON) in food and animal feed.

February 16, 2012 - Veterinarians Support Federal Legislation on Eggs

The United Egg Producers Association applauds the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the nation’s largest association of animal health professionals representing more than 82,500 veterinarians, for its announcement supporting H.R. 3798, the Egg Products Inspection Act Amendments of 2012.
